Not another leaf poem by ~0hhKarii:icon0hhKarii:

In Autumn, most people tend to glorify the beauty of the changing leaves.
I for one, dislike the trees who change their colors.
The sight of those few trees who stay green through Fall
are the ones that take to my taste,
for they are the ones who stay "their true color."
Despite the harsh conditions, they stay themselves,
changing for no one and nothing.
They are the ones who perservere.

I like the thought, but technically, the trees true colour is the bright oranges and yellows and reds. It is photosynthesis and the increased sunlight reacting with the natural chlorophyl that turns them green. The green is a simple chemical reaction. When autumn arrives, and the amount of sunlight decreases, the trees are allowed to return to their natural shades.
